Rainforests

The rain forest is a place where half of the species of animals on the earth live. The geography may have a lot of plants and may have some hills. The soil and vegetation is rich and sometimes fertile. However, since we are cutting down our forests there is only a small portion of the rain forests on the earth now.

3 FACTS ABOUT MYSELF!!!!

Okay, I decided I wanted to say 3 only five facts about myself for some reason. I don't really do this as you know I like keeping myself a secret. I don't want to do this, but my mother says I am scared to show myself so I don't have friends.....She says I am a loner and all with no friends....She says I play with a stick (she's exaggerating)
1. I love to spend time with my Father. W e would go fishing, I hated the cold, I hated getting wet, I hated getting up early but I love spending time with my Father
2 I can't concentrate if maybe a shirt is on the ground. It's messy, I have to clean up. If I don't do it then it will be like being in prison and I can't concentrate on my work.
3. Last but not least, I love skateboarding, I love to watch people skateboard. I would go and get one, but I will have to listen to my Mother and not get one. I love skaters, they are so cool and free. I LOVE THEM SKATERS!!!!!!

Them JabbaWockeeZ I watched on break

You know this spring break, I like watched America's Best Dance Crew. What I like is the JabbaWockeeZ. I also like Kaba Modern but yeah. They wear masks but then you can see their face, once you like watch them dance, they are like creative. They can imitate a motorcycle and a car.

I don't have A.D.D., maybe a wierd personality

I may have a weird personality. For example when I first meet you, I am very quiet and shy, But then when I get open somehow I become noisy. Since of my personality people think I have A.D.D. For the people who don't know it is a disorder for some people. (Attention Deficit Disorder)

Well maybe I do have A.D.D but you don't have to be nosy. Okay I don't have A.D.D but some of you think.
I don't go off topic and jump from topic to topic, I finish my story right.

So at home my sister was like hogging the ball right and I asked for it to play. SHE JUST THREW IT AT ME!!

Living in the TUNDRA .....cold summer? NOT FAIR!

The tundra is a frozen dessert. It has three types called the artic tundra, alpine, and antartic tundra. It is mostly cold and snowy all year. The permafrost underground are frozen solid. When snow melt on top then grass and plants can grow. The animals like polar bears, caribou, and reindeer depend on these plants and on each other. The geography is mostly covered with snow and there are some mountains

The Prairie.

The prairie is an area where it is most likely to be sunny and windy. It has long, tall grass. Unlike the savanna, farmers in the prairie can grow crops and wheat. The geography is flat so the prairie can have floods. Prairie dogs live in the prairie.

Savanna

The grassland biome is divided into two types. One of them is the Savannah. The summer is wet and the summer can last 6 to 8 months. It rains a lot, about 130 cm a year. All this rain happen in a two week period. It creates water puddles. There are often wildfires because the grass is so dry. This reason is why there are not so many trees. The animals are 40% mammals, like elephants, rhinos, and zebras.

Marine Ecosystem

The marine ecosystem has animals that can live on air or live on the oxygen in the water. Some animals who live on the air are dolphins, whales, turtles, and many more. The terrain can have deep canyons, trenches and coral.

Dessert

The Dessert is a place where there is little vegetation. The vegetation there that is popular to the people are the cactus. The dessert can have high temperatures and can be really hot like Saharah dessert or temperatures below freezing like the Gobi dessert.

Rainforests

Rain forests cover the planet. Rain fall two to three meters in rain forests each year. The top part of the rain forests is called the canopy. It is the top of the trees where vines and all types of animals live in. The underwater is the trunks and and small trees. Rain forests are the lungs of the earth. So people should stop beating the earth because the rain forests are disappearing.

The Kraken

This is a legend that can be real. The Kraken is a large squid like in At World's End you know with captain Jack Sparrow or something. The Kraken can be a really large squid. The Kraken si my fear. I sometimes get nightmares about it gobbling me up in its hidden mouth. It creeps me out but I just want to learn more about it. I CAN'T HELP IT!

Biomes

Biomes are plants, animals and land. It is similar to a eco-system. Plants and animals adapt and live in some types of biomes. For instance, only some animals can only live in the dessert biome but not in the tundra. Biomes can change over several years which gives time for animals to adapt. Although humans can change these biomes overnight which can threaten animals and plants to become extinct.

Vegetation

The vegetation that exist in the tropical region are palm trees, orchids, and plenty types of tropical fruit trees and bushes. Some of the tropical fruit trees can be banana trees and mango trees. These vegetation can only survive in hot and moist regions. For instance, palm trees can not survive in the polar region. This vegetation have a number of uses. The palm tree is considered "The tree of life" in some regions.

Tropical climate

The tropical climate is usually humid and hot and moist. They have animals that cannot live in different climates. Like the some tropical frogs that cannot live in the cold Artic Climate. In the tropics, the temperature rarely drops 35 C. During the wet season it rains heavily and regularly almost everyday. The areas with tropical climates are homes to the world's rain forests.

Serve and Protect

The military. Its so cool. They go through difficult training and go to wars to protect our country. Every time I think about the military it gives me a feeling that I shouldn't give up. But it only tels me this for physical classes. My dad is in the military well now was in the military but he has been in many wars.SERVE AND PROTECT.

Wow

On my weekend I went to a healing mass. It was mostly Filipinos in there. The priest would touch you and your sickness would go away. Like for instance one of the first touchings is a lady in a wheelchair. She has been on that wheelchair for years. But then as she got touched she was able to walk. When you fall Jesus Christ was with you. I got touched and now I can see clearly, I feel too. But I couldn't see how it happened like I was hypnotized.

I am going to another Clippers' Game on March 5. Best of all is that my family and I can shoot hoops on the court where they played the game. YESSSSS!!!!

While me and my cousin MJ (She goes to the school) we going home from a rough day at school, my Dad told me that my cousin died. She was 24 and she took a vacation to West Virginia. Then she had a car accident. It stunned me to know that one of my cousins died. She was so young, but my Dad said that maybe God wanted you now.

Sojourner Truth

Sojourner Truth is an African American woman who is an elegant speaker. She brought a lot of people to tears with her speeches. She was a slave and came into freedom eventually. Around her time woman were treated unfairly. She spoke of the rights of woman in her speeches. One man said once that women did not have the same strength as what men do. She said that she was worked on the fields liked a man never before. She can outdo a man. Sojourner Truth thought that she had to tell the truth because she thought she heard the lord tell her so she took the name of Sojourner Truth.

What's going on now

Well, now Clinton is winning the elections by more than a thousand votes.
Obama is second by approximately 960 votes. Maybe Clinton will be president and Obama can be Vice President but they might not get along. Plus Clinton for some reason wants to keep the war going although she should say she will stop the war.

McCain is leading in the Republican party. Since Romney Dropped out second leading is Huckabee.

The environment

The environment is where we live and where we do our living. Although sadly, people are abusing it. Factories are polluting the air with smoke and polluting our oceans with chemicals and oils. People are tagging our walls and trees are being cut down right now. People are also throwing trash on the ground. We are tearing up the EARTH apart people!!!!Before you think of LITTERING think of what you are doing to your home. Not just this. You are destroying animals habitats making them endangered. The next president should help with the environment.

Favorite T.V Show

My favorite t.v. show is "Flight 29 Down" in Discovery kids. This show is about these teenagers trying to survive on a deserted island. These teenagers also has to deal with all the drama going on while trying to deal with survival.

Semester Ends

Today is the day the semester ends in RFMS. It is Friday and the new semester starts on Monday. Monday is a minimum day, we get out at around 12:00 or 12:30 I am not so sure. Also today is Jersey day and Jeans day. What I hope is that we don't run today. Also today is the end of the school week. I am so happy right now well that is until Wednesday comes when the week is ordinary again I guess.

Oh for people who don't know RFMS stands for Robert Frost Middle School.

Tomorrow in Palau, it will have windy with scattered thunderstorms in the morning. Then become mostly sunny late. High 87F with winds at15 to 25 miles per hour. Sunday in Palau it will have sunshine, High 87F, and winds at10 to 20 mph. Monday will have scattered thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 70s. Then on Tuesday it will have a few clouds and highs in the upper 80s and low in the upper 70s.

Science Fair Project

This year we did a Science Fair project. My classmates and I didn't have to go to the Science Fair but we had to make an experiment because we are going to get a grade on it. I experimented on which will freeze faster and which will melt faster Ordinary Water as the control water and Salt Water and Muddy water as the two variables. I like my other classmates projects because the were interesting. One was about rusting metal and some other used plants in their experiments. I didn't go to the Science fair because I had to go to guitar lessons after school and because I didn't want to stay in school after school.

I got a Wii. But now my sister won't share it.

Winter Break

Through the winter break. I went to my after school classes as usual and went to tennis leagues. I would often go to the park and play there and climb the trees. I learned how to cook more food and I played my Wii in the loft. We did furniture arranging and bought new furniture and picture frames to decorate the walls. My family and I went to a Christmas party before the 25th of December and gathered our presents there. Then we open them on the 25th. I also did my Science Fair project over the Winter break.
